01 · Materials and sustainability

What materials do you work with? Are they sustainable?

I work with recycled silver, brass, and gold, as well as eco-resin, discarded wood, and ceramics. Each material is carefully chosen with environmental impact in mind. All my packaging is eco-friendly — recycled or compostable — because details also matter.

Why aren't there gold pieces in the online store?

I would love to offer them, but Mexican postal regulations do not allow shipping gold, neither nationally nor internationally. Gold pieces are available only as custom orders with direct pickup at the workshop. If you are interested, write to me, and we can talk.

Why is each piece slightly different?

Because each piece is handcrafted, one by one. Slight variations in texture, shape, or size are a natural part of the artisanal process — they are what make your piece truly unique and irreplaceable. It's the charm of wabi-sabi: the beauty of handmade imperfection.

02 · Sizing

How do I know my ring size?

I work with US sizes. On my blog, you will find a step-by-step guide to measuring yourself easily from home. Two useful tips:

  • Wide or stackable rings: I recommend ordering 0.5 sizes larger than usual.
  • Open rings: Due to their design, they fit slightly loose — this is completely normal and part of their aesthetic.
Can I change the size if the ring doesn't fit?

Yes. Line rings can be exchanged for size within the first 5 calendar days after receiving them, provided they are unused and in their original packaging. Check my Purchase Policies for all the details.

Do bracelets and bangles come in different sizes?

The measurements of each piece are specified in its description. If you are unsure whether a size is right for you, write to me before buying, and I will gladly guide you.

03 · Orders and production

Who makes the jewelry?

I do! Each piece is entirely handmade by me. Pieces that require lost-wax casting or highly specialized settings are made in collaboration with a trusted workshop under fair trade principles. In all cases, the design, supervision, and final finish are mine.

Do you do custom designs?

Yes, with pleasure — although always within my own artistic language. I do not replicate designs from other brands or artists. I also offer custom hand stamping for an additional cost.

Why don't you accept cancellations?

Because each order begins production as soon as it is confirmed, investing materials and time exclusively for you. That is why, once confirmed, it is not possible to cancel it. Thank you for your understanding — it is part of what makes each piece special!

Can I place a special order for a gift?

Absolutely! Write to me, and we can talk — I can advise you on delivery times, packaging options, and designs that might be perfect for that special person.

04 · Shipping

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship to Mexico, all of the Americas, non-EU Europe, Asia, Oceania, and Palestine. Some countries have special restrictions:

  • European Union: We are not currently shipping to EU countries due to complex import regulations (GPSR/REP).
  • United States: For now, sales to the USA are handled personally through WhatsApp with payment links. This is because regulations require paying a 10% tax in advance (DDP). On the online store, I cannot apply country-specific pricing or collect this payment any other way. Shipments are sent via Correos de México and always include a tracking number so you can follow your package. Write to me with confidence — I will be happy to help you.
  • Israel: We do not ship for ethical reasons.

How do you ensure the safety of my shipment?

With 18 years of experience shipping jewelry — from my Etsy shop (since 2008) and 7 years on my own platform — we have a very low history of lost packages. Basically, there are some minor delays due to customs, which we always handle with an escort.

  • We never use regular mail. All shipments are trackable.
  • Domestic: Private courier with tracking number.
  • International: Private courier or registered mail with tracking and signature upon receipt.
  • Mexico City and Metropolitan Area: Personalized delivery coordinated with you.
  • Enhanced security: You can opt for a courier with included insurance — DHL, FedEx, or Estafeta.

How long will it take for my order to arrive once it's shipped?

Is the packaging gift-ready?

Yes, always! All pieces arrive ready to gift, wrapped in recycled and eco-friendly materials, with reused protection, and including a card that says "from me to you". If you wish to add a personalized message, just let me know when placing your order.

05 · Payments and pricing

How can I pay?

We accept PayPal, Mercado Pago, Dikua gift cards, and other payment methods available at checkout.

Do you accept installment payments?

Yes, we offer 3 months interest-free (3 MSI).

Why are prices different on Etsy?

Each platform has different cost structures — Etsy charges commissions in USD. My final profit is the same on both. Buying directly here supports my project more directly.

Will my international order have additional customs charges?

Customs duties are the responsibility of each destination country and the buyer. It is not within my ability to calculate or pay them in advance (DDP), so if any charges apply, they will be collected upon receipt of the package.

Good news: Most of my designs qualify for duty-free entry into the US and Canada under the USMCA/TMEC, as they are made in Mexico with local or North American materials. However, the final decision always rests with the destination country's customs office.

06 · Policies and warranties

Do my pieces have a warranty?

Yes, all Dikua pieces come with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. If something is not right, I will repair it and return it to you in perfect condition.

What do I do if my order arrives damaged?

Write to me at [email protected] within the first 72 hours of receiving your order, with clear photos of the product and packaging. Manufacturing defects are covered — I will guide you through every step of the process.

Do you accept returns?

Returns apply only in cases of verifiable manufacturing defects. They do not apply to custom or made-to-order pieces. Instead of a monetary refund, a store credit is issued for the total value of your purchase. You can see all the details in my Purchase Policies.

How do I care for my pieces to make them last longer?

I have a care guide with specific tips depending on the type of piece and material. I highly recommend it — small habits make a big difference!

Can I bring my piece for maintenance even if it has no defects?
