Dikua Jewelry · Mexico
Each piece that leaves my workshop carries with it 18 years of experience, artisanal love, and dedication. Along this journey I have had the honor of accompanying hundreds of people across four continents, and my top priority remains the same: that you feel completely happy with your purchase. I invite you to read these policies calmly before placing your order.
Prices are shown in Mexican pesos (MXN). You can see an approximate amount in euros or dollars for reference only, but the final charge will be made in Mexican pesos and will be reflected in the currency of your payment method according to the exchange rate of the day established by the payment processor you have chosen.
In accordance with Mexican law, all prices include 16% VAT.
Since the price of silver changes continuously, prices are subject to change without prior notice.
We accept PayPal, Mercado Pago, Dikua gift cards, and other payment methods available at checkout.
I work as a slow jeweler: I personally make my jewelry one by one, so the availability of each piece may vary. All pieces in the online store are available for purchase, but this does not imply physical stock of all of them. It is possible that the item you purchased is not in stock; in that case, it will be made specifically for you within the estimated production time.
Important: Shipping time does not include production and manufacturing time.
For custom-made pieces, the same applies: if your size is available, I will ship it quickly; otherwise, I thank you for waiting the indicated time.
During the month of December, production time may increase depending on my workload. If so, you will receive a notice indicating the additional time.
If you need your order to arrive by a specific date, please confirm the immediate availability of the items you are interested in by contacting me directly before completing your purchase.
All Dikua pieces include a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. If during this period your jewelry presents a covered issue, I will take care of repairing it and returning it to you in perfect condition.
This warranty does not cover damage from improper use, impacts, or mistreatment. To make your piece last for many years, I share my care tips with you — small habits that make a big difference.
Handmade jewelry may need a little attention over time to recover its original splendor. Materials have a variable lifespan; some may need replacement after a few years. If that is your case, visit my Jewelry Maintenance page or write to me at [email protected] with the word "Maintenance" in the subject line.
Important information about your shipment: Please verify that your delivery address is correct and that someone is available to receive the package. In case of loss by the postal service or shipments to incorrect addresses due to buyer error, Dikua Jewelry cannot be held responsible.
Which countries do we ship to?
We ship to Mexico, all of the Americas, non-EU Europe, Asia, Oceania, and Palestine. Some countries have special restrictions:
With 18 years of experience shipping jewelry — from my Etsy shop (since 2008) and 7 years on my own platform — we have a record of zero lost packages. Only minor customs delays, which we always handle with support.
How to track your international package? When your order leaves Mexico, you will be assigned a tracking number. This number works on the Correos de México website while the package is in Mexican territory. Once the package arrives in your country, the local postal service (USPS in the United States, Canada Post in Canada, Correos de Chile, etc.) makes the final delivery. You can use the same tracking number on your country's postal service website to track it once it has crossed the border.
If you have already received your shipping notice, you can track your package here.
How long does it take for my order to arrive once shipped?
| Destination | Estimated time |
|---|---|
| Mexico City & Metropolitan Area (up to 15 km) | 1 to 3 days |
| Mexico (rest of the country) | 1–2 weeks |
| North America | 2–5 weeks |
| South America & Caribbean | 2–5 weeks |
| Europe | 3–5 weeks |
| Australia, New Zealand & Oceania | 4–6 weeks |
| Asia-Pacific | 4–6 weeks |
| North Africa & Middle East | 4–6 weeks |
| Sub-Saharan Africa | 4–7 weeks |
Note: From late November through December, these timelines may extend due to the global shipping peak season.
Yes, always! All pieces arrive ready to gift, wrapped in recycled and eco-friendly materials, with reused protection, and including a card that says "from me to you". If you wish to add a personalized message, just let me know when placing your order.
I know that choosing the right ring size from a distance can be quite a challenge. That is why, before buying, I recommend checking my Size Guide or this blog article — they are there to help you get it right the first time.
Exchanges only apply when the ring you purchased does not fit you in size. Exchanges are not made for other reasons (such as a change of mind about design, color, etc.). If you still need a size exchange, I will gladly help you.
Which pieces can be exchanged?
Deadline: Exchanges are valid during the first 5 calendar days from the date you received your order.
Condition of the piece
For the exchange to proceed, the jewelry must be unused, undamaged, and with its original complete packaging.
How to manage your exchange?
Write to me at [email protected], and together we will gladly find the best solution. I reply to emails within 1 to 2 business days; if you write on a weekend or holiday, I will reply the next business day. For quick inquiries, you can also write to me on WhatsApp, where I have automated support available.
The return shipping is borne by the buyer and must include a tracking number and proof of delivery.
As a micro-entrepreneur, each piece represents a lot of work and care. Therefore, returns apply exclusively in cases of verifiable manufacturing defects — something rare, but which I assume with full responsibility when it occurs.
A note on handmade jewelry
Slight aesthetic variations, small irregularities, and unique details you may notice in your piece are a natural part of the handmade process. They are precisely what make it irreplaceable — the charm of wabi-sabi — and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Did you receive a piece with a defect?
Report it within the first 72 hours of receiving your order, sending me clear photos of the product and the issue to [email protected]. The sooner you write to me, the faster I can help you.
Conditions for return
About the refund: Instead of a monetary refund, a store credit is issued for the total value of your purchase, so you can freely choose a new design of equal or higher price.
Dikua gift cards are a perfect detail for someone special. They are available for purchase directly through me and work only in my personal store or through direct sales (they do not apply to my Etsy store).
It is important for you to know that gift cards are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. They are designed so that the recipient can freely choose the piece they like most from my collection.
If you have a gift card and need to check your balance or make a purchase with it, write to me and I will be happy to help you.
With much love,
Fernanda
