- Important: Due to new GPSR and Minimis Tariff Exemption regulations, shipments to the US and the European Union are temporarily suspended. We do not accept any liability for any errors or omissions.
Hello! Welcome to our space. These terms exist to create a transparent and clear experience for both parties. By browsing or purchasing from our store, you agree to these terms and our Policies. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to read them.
1. Our Agreement
By purchasing with us, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Store Policies, and our Privacy Notice. We want you to feel secure and informed at every step.
2. Prices and Currency
- All our prices are in Mexican Pesos (MXN) and include 16% VAT.
- The prices you see in other currencies are a friendly estimate for your reference. The final transaction will always be made in MXN, and your bank or payment method will apply the daily exchange rate.
-To create your jewelry, I work with genuine silver. As you probably know, the price of silver is like the sea: it rises and falls every day in the global market. To continue offering you the best materials, I sometimes have to adjust my prices without prior notice to reflect these changes. I greatly appreciate your understanding!
3. How we place your order
Each piece is handmade with great care, especially for you. If your favorite piece of jewelry isn't in my hands at that moment, I will create it within the timeframe indicated in my policies (generally 3 to 5 days for line pieces, or 10 to 15 days for more complex techniques like lost-wax casting).
Custom or fully customized orders are a special project we undertake together. To begin, they require full payment in advance and, due to the unique nature of the work, are not eligible for exchanges.
4. International Shipping and Customs
-An important note regarding international shipping: Since my store is located in Mexico, you are responsible for any import taxes, duties, or customs fees your country may impose on your package. Unfortunately, I have no control over these charges and cannot predict in advance whether they will apply or how much they will cost.
-I always declare the full and true value of your jewelry on the shipping documentation. It is very important to me to be honest and comply with the law.
-Pause to some destinations: To protect you from unexpected charges, shipments to the US will be temporarily paused from August 2024 to March 2025. This is due to recent changes in de minimis regulations while the USPS completes its adaptation period, and I work on obtaining the necessary certification so that my 100% Mexican jewelry can qualify for the exemption under the USMCA.
Unfortunately, shipments to the European Union will also remain suspended due to the requirements of the GPSR law, which are currently difficult for micro-businesses like mine to comply with. I greatly appreciate your understanding and patience as I seek solutions to serve you again in the future.
5. Regarding exchanges, returns, and the guarantee on your jewelry.
Each piece is created with great care and dedication, especially for you. As I am an independent artisan and a small business, I do not have the same exchange or refund policies as larger companies. I greatly appreciate your understanding and support in choosing to buy handmade.
Warranty for manufacturing defects:
If your jewelry arrives with a manufacturing defect (which is very rare!), please notify me within 5 business days of receiving it. Send me an email to [email protected] with clear photos where I can see the details. In these cases, my commitment is to resolve the problem by repairing your piece or, in extreme cases, replacing it with a new one.
To proceed, I'll need you to send the piece back to me with a tracking number to ensure it doesn't go missing. Once I receive and verify the defect, I'll cover the shipping costs to return your repaired jewelry or the new piece.
Important:
I do not issue refunds. As these are small-scale, custom, and often made-to-order pieces, it's not financially viable for my small workshop.
Custom or specialty-designed orders: These pieces, being created exclusively for you, are not eligible for any type of exchange, replacement, or free repair other than for very obvious manufacturing defects.
The 12-month warranty covers only manufacturing defects under normal use. It does not cover natural wear and tear, accidental damage, loss, alterations made by third parties, or the delicate nature of materials such as resin and ceramic.
If you purchased through a retailer:
If you found one of my pieces at another store or bazaar, any concerns about warranties or repairs should be addressed directly with that dealer.
6. Our Creations
Every design, photo, and text you see here is an expression of my heart and my work. Everything is the intellectual property of Dikua Jewelry. This means that you are not permitted to copy, reproduce, or use my creations for commercial purposes. Thank you for admiring and respecting my art!
If you leave a review or share a photo, I will be happy to share it on my social media and will consider that you authorize me to use it to promote my work (if you ever want me to remove it, just email me at [email protected]).
7. Limitation of Liability
I do my best to make your experience wonderful, but I cannot be held responsible for shipping delays caused by force majeure, natural phenomena, courier overload, strikes, errors in the registered address, or delays at customs in your country. I also cannot guarantee the estimated shipping times provided by the postal service.
8. Applicable Law
Our relationship will be governed by the laws of Mexico. Any legal dispute or disagreement will be resolved in the courts of Mexico City.
9. Do you have any questions?
Your peace of mind is paramount. If you have any questions about these terms, please do not hesitate to contact me at: [email protected].
